Our team of professionals has over 25 years of capital raising, marketing, and database construction building experience. The Private Equity Directory team is based in our two international offices located in Portland, Oregon USA and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Richard C. Wilson: Managing Director
Richard C. Wilson founded the Private Equity Investment Group (PEIG) and Family Offices Group associations. Richard is author of the bestselling hedge fund book called “The Hedge Fund Book: A Training Manual for Professionals and Capital Raising Executives,” and “The Family Office Book: Investing Capital for the Ultra-Affluent.” He has been working with alternative investments, investors, and capital raising for over 7 years and has provided consulting advice and services to over 1,600 firms during that time.
Richard has spoken at over 50 top industry conferences and events in the family office and alternative investment industries. This year alone he has chaired a full day 300 person conference in Zurich and acted as Opening Day Chairman for GAIM International the family office industry’s largest and oldest conference in Monaco. Richard is currently writing a book on family office capital deployment best practices for Wiley to be released in the winter of 2011, and his team is constantly expanded their industry leading website, FamilyOfficesGroup.com.
Theo O’Brien
Theo O’Brien serves as Managing Director at Richard Wilson Capital Partners and the Family Offices Group. At the Family Offices Group, Theo is in charge of developing and delivering our family office training services, the family office newsletter, and other resources to family offices.
Theo brings to the team several years of experience in alternative investments, business strategy and marketing. He is widely-recognized for his extensive research and writing on private equity and hedge funds which includes the production of hundreds of articles, interviews, books and video modules. Prior to joining Richard Wilson Capital Partners, Theo worked as a consultant and marketing strategist for the Hedge Fund Group and the Private Equity Investment Group.
Rafael Tassini: Dedicated Database Builder
Rafael Tassini is the Private Equity Directory’s database building manager. Mr. Tassini is 100% dedicated to reviewing, researching and designing our premier and premium Private Equity Directory. Mr. Tassini is trained and employs advanced Boolean search techniques, capital raising strategies, and his extensive experience within the industry to continually help our team improve our database products each quarter as we release new and updated versions of the Private Equity Directory.
Ashley Wirthlin: Vice President of Operations
Ashley Wirthlin is Head of Client Services and Vice President of Operations, and will most likely be your first point of contact. If you decide that you have a question regarding the database directory, or would like to speak to someone in person Ashley will be more than happy to answer each and every question. We are focused on providing not only quality database directory listings, but to also provide you with the personal help needed if you have any questions or concerns regarding the Private Equity Directory. Ashley Wirthlin has been an integral member of our team since 2009. Since that date, Ashley has helped us grow and expand our database and client services each month. Ashley Wirthlin is also an integral component to the success of our latest update to the database.
Adriana Albuquerque: Database Specialist (USA / Brazil)
Adriana Albuquerque is the Private Equity Directory Database Specialist. Adriana Albuquerque is focused on helping the Private Equity Directory team to update the details included within our databases and to facilitate the release of new versions of the database. The Private Equity Directory is dedicated to providing quality database details which are updated and released in new versions at least twice a year. Adriana Albuquerque collaborates with members of our team to conduct industry research and gather user feedback from the Private Equity Directory. Adriana Albuquerque has been a member of the Private Equity Directory team since the beginning.
